Dec 22 CB1 Land Use Meeting on Governors Island- What Went On

Community Board 1 voted on the latest Governors Island Trust proposal for Development of part of the Island in December. The Board is not supportive of the proposal unless a number of changes are made. Below is the meeting where the proposal was discussed. (It’s 5 hours long, so feel free to jump around!)

Harbor School PTA and administration have been active in the discussion of this proposal, as we are using it as a platform to try to get our long-sought facilities for the school: a gym, a pool, an auditorium.
